Hello and Happy June to all,
I wanted to start off with a few great announcements that I am so very pleased to announce to all of our members and supporters. If you read some of our monthly newsletters, you know the help wanted sign has been hanging out there for a while. Therefor, I am so pleased to announce that we finally have added two members to assist the TDAWPA crew. These two have agreed to step up to assist the association with knowledge gained not only within their life experiences, but of course within the tire and automotive industry. Their much needed help and ongoing commitment to support the association is beneficial for all involved in the ongoing planning of events and behind the scenes work that is needed to streamline event planning. Our goal as an association is to provide the best of events and outings for our members, supporters, families, friends, and employees.
Without further ado, I would like to introduce and talk a little bit about these individuals. First, we have James Ball who is currently employed with ATD and has many years in the automotive industry prior to his current employment. James is a great guy and we are blessed to have his help. We have added Jason Andy who has agreed to help us as well. He is also a long term member of our industry and is currently with Tire Express. I have had dealings with Jason on a business level for many years and have had nothing but positive experiences. We are blessed to have Jason, his help, and knowledge. Finally, we have recently added Brandon Schwartz to our group to help out with the technology end of our association. He has agreed to get us up and running in the right direction on the computer and automation end that will keep us up to date with the world around us and the tech needs of our members. Computers are the way the industry is going and I am so pleased to have his help in tackling this for our association. He is helping to seek out newer ways to provide, receive, distribute, and update our information and I am blessed to have his help going forward.
I would also like to remind everyone of our golf outing coming very soon on Wednesday June 19th at Quicksilver Golf Club. This event is filling up fast so please get your request in as soon as possible.
